Subjective Notes: 34 pages, listing many slaves. His estate seems to be tied to Alabama as well as NC. Think there were deeds for land there. pg 15, 18, pg 20 lists negroes in Alabama, pg 21 lists negroes in NC, pg 24 list of 23 slaves & request to have them divided-

Slaves were divided into 3 lots, Eliza Watkins Widow, got lot 2 ofSam, Henry, George, Dolly w/ child Becton, Isaac, Catharine, Jenny. Ally, Phillis, Sue, & Hannah were conveyed as gift by deed to Mary Sidney & Elizabeth Watkins. Another document I did not understand listing them all with crossouts of the childrens'. Not sure who got the others.
